Thought I would try the last post on a bigger scale, I quite like to end result.

Hi all, I've decided to pick up my blog again, it's only been 5 years since I last posted anything!! 😕

Work doesn't half get in the way!  I have reduced my working week to 4 days now so I have a nice long extended weekend for lots of crafty goodness.

Within the past 5 years I have turned my spare room into a dedicated craft room, so I now have it nicely set up and is now a nice workable environment.

I will post a few pictures of some of the things I have been making and will catch up again very soon.

Wedding Centre piece

I thought it was about time I posted another creation.  This is my Wedding table centre piece.  The cupcake is made from paper, polystyrene and pearl beads.  I went to a craft show last October and they were selling kits in pinks and purples so I decided that it would look lovely in cream so I had a go, and here is the result.

Here are a couple of cards I made with the inspiration from my trip to New York last year.  The black one is in its original state but I thought I would bling the second one up a little.

Hello and welcome to my blog, I'm Julie and I live in Brighouse.  I have one daughter, Nicola who supports me and understands my love of crafts.    I have been making cards for quite a few years and now I am making gift bags and boxes along with matching tags.  I am learning all the time and love trying new products and techniques.  I've recently been on some bookmaking courses and I'd really like to get in to mixed media.
